CECILIA is at the head of a family-run leather, tanning and trading company that is now in its 5th generation and can look back on more than 100 years of experience. Designed together with honorable photographers, designed in New York and made from the finest materials worldwide, each camera strap is a high-quality one-off.
Only the best, surface-treated "full grain" leather from Argentinian cows was used for the shoulder strap offered here. "Full grain" or full-grain leather is high-quality smooth leather made from the upper layers of cowhide and is much denser and more tear-resistant than the layers below. It allows the natural grain or skin irregularities of the animal to be seen in its full naturalness and is also more supple than normal embossed leather, which usually has to be sanded before dyeing and then smoothed out again with a thicker layer of paint. But that's not all: The entire camera strap is traversed by an extremely tear-resistant nylon fabric "Made in the USA", which has been tested for a pull weight of almost 80 kg. A hardened and corrosion-protected steel ring with a leather covering is used as a direct connection to your camera.
