The smooth Italian leather used for this bag, which is generally processed into particularly high-quality French handbags and purses, is first-class leather. This type of leather gets its unmistakable and characteristic embossing and pigmentation, reminiscent of pebbled leather, in a special process that makes it both weather-resistant and abrasion-resistant. Ultimately connected to the base plate by master craftsmen and provided with a highly durable saddle yarn seam, each half bag leaves the manufactory as a one-off.
