For all of those, the "The Hendrix" camera shoulder strap was designed by the small Cypriot leather manufacturer Rock n Roll Camera Straps and Bags, led by Greek director and professional photographer Evris Papanikolas. More than 35 years of professional experience with Leica and DSLR systems and the desire to design a leather camera strap that corresponds to a high-quality Leica premium camera, culminated in the founding of his fine leather manufactory, specializing in unusual shoulder straps for camera design of the highest quality, handcrafted by professionals bag makers and belt makers with great attention to detail.
The leather camera strap model Hendrix comes with a clear, no-frills design language, optically perfect for modern system and compact cameras. In this longer shoulder strap for camera version, 64 hand-cut elements, consisting of the best Greek and Italian full-grain leather, are connected to form a "chain" in a process lasting more than an hour, hand-sewn using hard-wearing and waxed saddle thread and provided with two rust-free split rings. In this way, a very durable, but at the same time extremely flexible and cuddly leather camera strap is created. But the shoulder strap for camera setup is not only purely design-oriented, it offers a practical side effect. The individual leather elements ensure that the leather camera strap absorbs sudden impacts or weight loads, similar to a "shock absorber", which means that even heavier camera lens combinations can be carried more relaxed. Two X-shaped middle pieces additionally stabilize the shoulder strap for cameras.
