Unmistakable design with perfect craftsmanship made from high-quality materials, that is the claim that the small Cypriot leather manufacturer Rock n Roll Camera Straps and Bags, under the direction of the Greek director and professional photographer Evris Papanikolas, has for its leather camera strap. 35 years of professional experience with DSLR and Leica systems and the desire to find a leather camera strap that corresponds to a high-quality Leica premium camera, culminated in the founding of his small but fine leather manufactory, specializing in unusual camera shoulder straps of the highest quality, handcrafted by professional bag makers and belt makers in Cyprus with great attention to detail.
The camera strap model THE MONOCHROM is a homage to the era of black and white photography, optically perfect for today's slim system and compact cameras. Four elements made of Italian leather in different shades of gray are intended to symbolize the gray scale. Together with another 41 individual elements made of the best Greek and Italian leather, they are connected to form a "chain" in this shorter camera shoulder strap version in a process that takes more than an hour, hand-sewn using hard-wearing and waxed saddle thread and provided with two rust-free split rings. In this way, a very resistant, but at the same time extremely flexible and cuddly camera shoulder strap in black gray is created. But the camera strap made of leather is not only purely design-oriented, it also offers a practical side effect. The individual leather elements ensure that the Rock n Roll camera shoulder strap in black gray absorbs sudden impacts or weight loads, similar to a "shock absorber", which means that even heavier camera lens combinations can be carried more relaxed.
